Our Programs

Early Foundations offers high quality preschool, childcare, kindergarten, and school age programs designed to support children at every stage of early learning. Through small class sizes, experienced teachers, and a balance of academic instruction, social development, and play, we provide a nurturing environment where children grow with confidence and curiosity.

3 Year old Preschool

Our 3 year old preschool program is thoughtfully designed to introduce children to early learning in a fun, supportive environment. Students begin developing academic foundations through letter recognition, early math concepts, fine and gross motor skill development, and creative activities, while also learning important social skills through small group and whole group instruction.

4 Year old Preschool

The 4 year old preschool program prepares children for kindergarten by building confidence, independence, and essential academic skills. Through hands on learning centers, small group instruction, and interactive lessons, students strengthen letter and number recognition, early reading and math skills, and problem solving abilities while enjoying themed activities and special events.

5 Year Old Preschool

Our 5 year old preschool program is ideal for children who benefit from an additional year in a smaller learning environment before entering kindergarten. With a strong focus on academic readiness, guided reading and math centers, and individualized instruction, students continue to grow socially and emotionally while developing the skills needed for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Childcare/Extended Care

Our childcare program offers flexible, full day care for children who need care outside of scheduled preschool hours. Children enjoy a balanced day that includes structured activities, social interaction, free play, and rest time in a safe, caring environment supported by attentive teachers.

After Kindergarten

Early Foundations provides reliable before and after kindergarten care with transportation to and from Penn Trafford elementary schools. After returning to our center, children enjoy a supportive routine that includes lunch time, homework assistance, engaging activities, and supervised indoor and outdoor play.

Kindergarten Enrichment (KEP)

The Kindergarten Enrichment Program offers targeted academic support in a small group setting to strengthen skills and build confidence. Through individualized instruction, hands on learning, and center based activities, students receive focused enrichment designed to support academic growth and address learning gaps.

Before School (K-5)

Our Before Care program provides a calm, welcoming start to the day for children who need early morning care. Beginning as early as 6:30 am, students enjoy a safe, supervised environment with quiet activities, social interaction, and time to ease into their day before heading to school or preschool feeling prepared and confident.

After School (1-5)

Our school age program offers structured before and after school care for elementary students in the Penn Trafford School District. Students receive homework support, participate in organized activities, and enjoy supervised play, creating a balanced environment that supports both learning and relaxation.

Summer Camp

Our in center Summer Camp program offers a fun, engaging experience for children of all ages served at Early Foundations. Campers enjoy themed weeks filled with hands on activities, creative projects, games, and outdoor play, all designed to encourage exploration, friendship, and learning in a safe and supportive environment. With flexible scheduling and experienced staff, our summer program provides a perfect balance of structure and summer fun for every age group.
